Self-Hate

I have had a REALLY easy week this week and I have enjoyed it so far. :) However, it has given me a lot of time to think about what I am doing and how it is hurting me. It isn’t helping me to not follow my meal plans or to not count points. It is HURTING me. I can’t express how hard it is for me to feel like I can love myself. I keep doing things to myself to hurt, not help, simply because I don’t know how to love myself. I have learned that in order to be successful at ANYTHING in my life I need to love myself enough to learn how to take care of myself. I have had so many people tell me things that have made me truly hate things about me and it has happened my whole life. Growing up I always thought no one picked on me but as an adult there are specific times that I remember people making fun of me because I am over weight. Not just people I didn’t care about in high school, but also family members. It sucks to know that you aren’t good enough. I need to learn how to forgive the people who have hurt me and made me hate myself enough to not want to do anything good for myself. Hopefully through this blog I will be able to show my transformation from self-hate to self-love. Hopefully I can finish what I have started this time and live happy and healthy.
